Age Requirements

MakerLabs members under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult to use any tools, workshops, and/or spaces.

Children less than 18 years can get full membership at affiliate rate when attached to an adult with a full membership.

WOOD/METAL SHOP

• Adults: OK given proper tool orientation and space access permissions (membership, drop in, guest, event booking etc.)
• Kids: Minimum 13 years old with adult supervision*

ALL OTHER AREAS

• Adults: OK given proper space access permissions (membership, drop in, guest, event booking etc.)
• Kids: All ages with adult supervision*

CLASSES/ORIENTATIONS

• Specific age restrictions may apply for certain classes/orientations. Please see our Eventbrite portal for more information

* Adult supervisors must be authorized to use the facilities (ie. orientated in the workshops & a member has paid drop-in rates)
