For any members that have not used a tool in the last year that they have previously taken an orientation for, members are required to prove their knowledge of the tool to the Education Manager. This involves a 30 minute evaluation at a cost of $30+GST per class.
If members are unable to prove their knowledge, they are required to re-take the orientation class at the member's own expense. The $30+GST evaluation fee can be applied to a future class if they need to re-take the class.
Knowledge tests for fabrication tool exceptions will be $20+GST/tool.
Tests must be scheduled in advance with staff member and fees are to be paid prior to the start of the test.
